Sermon and Prophetic Words Given at Come Ye To The Waters, May 2, 2004 God called me about 30 years ago. God has a way of developing us in HIS time, if we will wait upon HIM. In the Word it says, "...they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." [Isaiah 40:31] "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." [1 Peter 5:7] The Bible says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." [1 Peter 5:8-9] We all have had heartaches. Just on the way down [here] the Lord was showing me that *WE* *ALL* *HAVE* *PROBLEMS*! But our God loves us so much. MY Heavenly Father loves me so much. Here I'm still working as a mechanic over here. I was working on something I didn't know anything about, really. It was a walnut sweeper. [Brother Freedom has spent his whole life working on and operating Caterpillar heavy earth moving equipment. Now he finds himself repairing a piece of orchard equipment.] And the controls that go to the engine go down underneath this walnut sweeper. And that was one of the things I was supposed to change. I didn't know how I was going to do it. It had brought me to much concern. I went back to the shop Thursday and I was so concerned. I thought I was going to have to tip this sweeper upside down! I didn't know how I was going to get to it. And this throttle control cable was way down in there. And it looked to me like it was just too much. And I started praying. About 11:00 A.M. I got through with all the other things that I was doing. The Spirit of God said, "It is about time for you to start with that cable." And I said, "Lord, I really don't know how to do it." And God, very steadily, told me how to do it, very simple. It worked real good. HE just told me to go get some duct tape and the old cable. I had a rope there. That part was all right, but I didn't know how I was going to do it. And the Spirit of the Lord just told me to take that cable. God is *SO* wonderful! HE said, "Take that rope and lay it over that cable. I said, "Lord, I hear YOU. I'm going to do it." So I got the old cable and the rope and wrapped some duct tape on it. And the Spirit of the Lord said, "Don't make it any bigger around than what the preceding cable is, because it is that tight in there." Of course I'm sure the Lord sent help besides that (angels). But I pulled that cable out very easy. And I got it almost out and I couldn't go no farther. "What in the World has happened," I wondered?" The Spirit of the Lord, just like that, said, "Do I have to show you? The rope has got a knot in it and won't let it come through!" So I got the knot out. It took about 30 minutes. That's how I skinned my arm up, trying to get to it. And then the cable went right back in place. And I've seen it, time after time. Our refrigerator didn't work awhile back. It was at Christmas time. The refrigerator was quitting. It was making a loud noise. So I just said, "Lord, we just give it to YOU. Now it is working perfect! Then we had a sewer that has been a problem for 30 years. And here about a month ago God touched it and there isn't anything wrong with it now. So I say this: WE CAN'T MAKE IT WITHOUT GOD! HE is an ever present "...help in time need." [Hebrews 4:16] And I believe what is before us is some things that we look for that we shouldn't see. The Bible says, "...we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. [2nd Corinthians 4:18] "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory... [2nd Corinthians 4:16-17] The things that we see, yes in our natural, cannot be changed. But in the Spirit it is God's *GLORY* that they *CAN* be changed. I guarantee you they can be changed! And that is the duty of the child of God [to move in the Spirit]. You say, "This may sound too complicated!" Well, that is what God has called us, basically to do, [to move in the Spirit]. There are very few pastors. Brother Jack is the pastor here. But there is a lot of you here like myself who are not pastors. But you can pray. A lot of your time can be used in developing in issues that God wants a man of God or woman of God to take responsibility, and be led by the Spirit to pray over an issue. And you may not do that even openly to the ability of hearing. Do you see what I am saying? You may go to a prayer breakfast like some of us men go to each week. And everything is real quiet. But God hears everything. You don't have to say much. The Bible says that we are to "Abstain from all appearance of evil." [1st Thessalonians 5:22] And I think that is what God has showed me has happened to many, many of our doings that we have done in the Name of the Lord. We have done things in public that was not really sanctioned by the Lord Jesus Christ. Just for instance, in church, men, it is right for us to go and hug another man. But I believe in a public place we do damage when we hug. God has been telling me this over and over and over. Because we are there in the public place for a witness. We are there not to have these people think that we are funny, that there is something strange about us. They don't know anything about you. I know how they are, the people of the World. I know how they think. We represent God. It doesn't shorten your love at all! But when you accidently go up there and hug a person in public, it is an image. God has shown me, it ruins what the intent is for your life, because this person of the World [hears the devil saying] "Look at what [Brother Freedom] is doing! He's out here and he's attracted to other men!" Now you think I'm getting a little bit narrow minded here. But I'm saying this, that we need to walk this life by the direction of the Holy Spirit. That is just a light issue. But there are some heavy issues that we need to know *WHAT* saith the Spirit of God! And I'll guarantee you, if you pray in the Spirit, and walk with the Spirit you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. It is in the Word of God! [See Galatians 5:16] And years ago, when I started out, God spoke to me. HE says, "I want you to read the Word a tenth of your time at home, and the rest of the time when you get in this service truck, I want you to pray in the Spirit." When I got to a job I knew *EXACTLY* what was going to take place. This is NO BRAG! This is *JUST* God! YOU pray in the Spirit, and I will guarantee you, you will have the insight from Heaven that is like Oral Roberts says, "YOU WILL KNOW!!" You spend three hours in intercessory prayer...the thing about it is that you are taking [on the the new man, the Holy Ghost man]. The Bible says, "...be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." [Ephesians 4:22-24] When we don't know what is going on, somehow we are doing something, because we are doing it through the power of the Spirit of God. Much of the work that we try and do, we have been trying to do it in the frame work of ourself! And our self ability is NOT capable for defeating "... principalities,... powers, ...the rulers of the darkness of this world, ... spiritual wickedness in high places." [Ephesians 6:10-12] But I will guarantee you that when you come in the Spirit there is a difference! I have been there! I know what I am talking about! [Suddenly a terse prayer pours forth, from Brother Freedom's lips, like a flash flood in a language of the Spirit of God. And the anointing in the room takes a step higher as God's Spirit enriches the atmosphere.] There comes a **POWER**, there comes a **GLORY**, there comes a **RESTORATION** of God. And people don't want to humble themselves! They say, "Why should we humble ourselves, to this old silly stuff??!!" Whether you call it silly or not, it is a tool that God uses. And I'll guarantee you that if you don't want to use it, just go your way. Have it your way! I'm not here to change people! I'm here to do the direction of the Lord! God changes people! God uses us to deliver HIS Word. Basically, after that, it is **STILL** HIS department! The Bible says you cannot be saved unless the Spirit draws! [Read John 4:24 and John 6:44, together they teach this truth!] But you need intercessors praying that these will be **DRAWN**! It is all a process of people surrendering their will to the will of God, that they might be used in a round about way, that many, many, many will be changed, that lives will be *TOUCHED*! The righteous power of the Holy Ghost will be alive and faithful! God has a delivering way! And HE wants to deliver us out of the powers of darkness! "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." [Proverbs 14:12] The bible says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and **ALL** **THESE** **THINGS** shall be added unto you." [Matthew 6:33] "Casting all your care UPON ***HIM***; for he careth for you." [1 Peter 5:7] We need to realize *HE* is the ONE that cares for us. *HE* is the *WAY MAKER*! "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." [Philippians 4:13] "But my God shall supply **ALL** your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." [Philippians 4:19] "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly..." **I LOVE YOU**! "...above all that we ask...." *I* **LOVE** **YOU**!! "...or think, according to the power that worketh in us," [Ephesians 3:20] With out love we can do NOTHING!! "Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things." [1st Corinthians 13:4-7] It says without love prophecy will NOT work! Tongues will pass away! Prophecy shall pass away! But the Bible says despise not prophecy. [See 1st Thessalonians 5:20] Is that a tongue twister?? NO it isn't! It means that the supporting unit of the whole effectiveness that is in your life is the LOVE OF GOD!! It is the glory of God that rests within you, that motivates you. The glory can come down that you can bind the imps of Hell and produce life by the Spirit of God, without even uttering a voice that can be heard! And I am going to tell you this with love. I love you! And you may not believe it. It doesn't make any difference! I don't really care. I've come to the place that it doesn't bother me no more! It used to bother me when people wouldn't believe me. I can see your side of it! "Why would I want to go to an old guy like him?! I mean, he is 72 years old! Why, he has never been nothing! He has never been anything!" That is what the World says! That is what the Devil says! But God says, "...greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." [1 John 4:4b] We have an advantage that out weighs the impossible weight that you are facing! That is how an engine works! You take a truck out here. The Bible says, "...lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run *WITH* *PATIENCE* the race that is set before us,..." [Hebrews 12:1] There is problems out here! And our 20 horse engine is *NOT* going to pull an 80,000 pound load down this freeway! You are not going to even do it probably with a 100 horse! And get a 150 horse, you are really *VERY* weak! You get a 200 horse and you might be a little better. You get a 300, you might be a little better yet. But you get about a 500 horse, and I will guarantee you there is *NO* hill that is going to stop you!! And it is because you have got the power from on HIGH! Be ye strengthened with the Spirit of God! [See Ephesians 3:16] The Bible says, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Romans 8:38-39] There is *POWER* **THROUGH** God! Now you have to make up your mind. Do I want the power, or do I not want the power?? That is our part of the bargain. God says, "It is available." But God also says, "It is *MY* way!" If you want that power it has to be God's way! HE don't compromise! We compromise! But HE doesn't compromise! "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of **DEATH**." [Proverbs 14:12] We can say, "Yeah, I think I'm living all right!" And at the end of that day the Lord says, "I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." [Luke 13:27] The Bible says, "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. *WHEREFORE* *COME* *OUT* *FROM* *AMONG* *THEM*, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." [2 Corinthians 6:16-18] "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us **CLEANSE** ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." [2 Corinthians 7:1] God is wanting to speak to us by HIS Spirit. [Brother Freedom is sensing that the Holy Ghost is getting closer to taking over totally and using Freedom as a mouth piece. That message by the Holy Ghost comes a bit further on as you will read.] Let's give HIM just a little time. Do any of you not believe in prophecy?? You know prophecy is a way that God uses. It is a prophetic way. I can't explain how it is done because I don't know. It scared me a long time ago. The Lord is telling me it is all right to tell you this. It scared me by the fact that maybe I would make mistakes. And how terrible to make a mistake when God is counting on me to be the representative. And just this week on Monday morning I was asking the Lord about this. I said, "You know, I've spent many hours with YOU. But, "I said, "I don't want to make a mistake!" And God spoke to me so clear! I have never used this word before. Brother Clint knows that my vocabulary is very lean, without the Spirit of God, very, very lean! But when the Spirit touches me there is something different! I thank God for it! But I was driving down the street and the Spirit of God says, "You know what? You need to *FOCUS* on *ME* to keep from making those kinds of mistakes! Also, those that are hearing from *ME* need to *FOCUS* on *ME* **REMEMBER** **FOCUS** *IS* *THE* **WORD**!! And I looked right up out of the windshield. And I stopped at the stop sign and this car in front of me says, "**FOCUS**!! And God says, "See!" Hallelujah!! [The congregation just explodes with delight!] [God put a new Ford FOCUS car right in front of Brother Freedom's car as a proof of the importance and reality of the truth that if we FOCUS on God we will *NEVER* go wrong!!"] I have seen God do these miracles one after another. It is *NOT* by accident! God wants to dispose of the garbage, the added weight that we don't need! The Bible says, "...lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with *PATIENCE* the race that is set before us,..." [Hebrews 12:1] "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." [2 Chronicles 16:9a] [Suddenly the Spirit of God begins to speak and Freedom repeats what he hears the Spirit of God saying direct from the Throne Room of the Almighty.] For I would say to thee, MY people, this day. For I say I seeth the things, and the cares, and the issues that are coming thy way, oh man, oh woman, MY child. And I want you to know, saith the Spirit of God, that I *LOVE* you! I AM very concerned about you. I want to be *WITH* you. I want to be part of you. And I say this day on, be not afraid of ME, for I AM coming with a tender love, with MY hands outstretched. [As] the father loves his children, so I love you this day. And I care for you! And I understand where thou have come from. I seen the times when thou was born. I know the number of hair upon thy head. I know the number of times that thou has breathed the breath of life. And I have known the times when thou has felt like failing. I have known the time when thou has been discouraged. I have known the times through thy sickness. I have seen the times that thou has almost fainted. But I this day am calling thee MY ones. I AM calling thee because I want to give thee more abundant life. I want to give thee a life that will prosper you in this last days, that thou will live with MY joy. For does not thou know that MY joy is your strength? Am not I able to give thee joy, to you more abundant life, that I could give you a privilege of MY love upon you. IT IS A *PRIVILEGE*! I have given thee MY privileges this day! And if thou shall come to ME, desire this day, I shall give thee an over *ABUNDANCE* of MY glory! For I AM calling forth a peculiar people this last days, that they will set their sights on Heaven's shore, that they will be delighted to hear from the God that they love, that God that has brought them forth, that HE will *KEEP* them. And HE will live *IN* them. And they shall see *VICTORY* because HE is in their side. HE is blessing them. And HE will *USE* them. For MY *GLORY* shall be UPON them. And I shall be with *WITH* them, *ABOUT* them, *OVER* them. For I AM looking for a people that will walk upright in this last days. I AM looking for those that will learn to be an overcomer, those that will have, without spot or blemish, those that will *DESIRE* to live *HOLY*, a holy life, those that desire to hear from Heaven, and to be able, as I would allow them to grow, that they will come forth as a light that will shine in a dark and dreary land. For I say in this Land that thou liveth in, I say it is very dark. It is very treacherous. And I say, even the very *ELECT* is going to have problems in this day, *UNLESS* *THEY* *HAVE* *THE* *MOVE* *OF* *MY* *SPIRIT* *WITHIN* *THEM*. For I can cast off *ALL* imagination. I AM able to do *ALL* things, but I *WISH* to work through MY people. I wish to work with those that will cry unto ME, and ask ME for forgiveness. And I the Lord thy God shall re-instate them. And I shall restore them. And I shall bring victory back to them. And I shall give them a new talk. And I shall give them a new walk. And I shall give them that they might walk upright for ME. And I shall *FILL* them with MY joy evermore! And they shall receive the fruit from Heaven's shore. And I shall **FEED** them. As a father feeds HIS children I will feed thee. And I shall **KEEP** thee for that Day. For I say the Day of MY coming is very soon, saith the Spirit of God. I say **LAWLESSNESS** is before this Land! I say *CORRUPTION* is in this Land! Wrong doings is everywhere thou goest! I say there is lying. There is cheating. And I say MY people need MY covering upon them. And I say if thou shalt come to ME, I shall *GIVE* thee the covenant of the Ninety-First Psalm, saith the Spirit of God! And that shall *BE* that [if] ye shall come I shall **KEEP** thee through the times of oppression. I shall **BLESS** thee. And I shall lift thee *UP*. And I shall encourage thee, even when the time the enemy has come thy way. But when thou will draw to ME, draw nigh to ME, I will draw nigh unto thee. And when thou resists him [the enemy] I shall be beside thee. And he shall flee *FROM* thee, because of MY glory within thee, about thee, because I will be **WITH** thee, saith the Spirit of God. For I say, thou cannot contest against the horses, the things of this World, in thyself. But I say if thou shall walk in MY Spirit, walk in MY fulfillment of MY power, one of thee can put a thousand to flight! I say one of thee can do greater than that! There is no ***END*** to thee, if thou shall stand upright for ME this day. I shall deliver thee! And I shall give thee a strength. And I shall give thee a multitude of key people come thy way. And I shall build a church here, saith the Spirit of God, that [if] thou shall open they hands and arms of love round about thee, I shall **BLESS** thee! And I shall strengthen thee. Be not afraid. For I have not given thee the spirit of fear, but of *POWER*, *LOVE* and a *SOUND* *MIND*. I say *GREATER* is MY Spirit within thee than the things that thou will face! I say there is *GREAT* safety in the Lord Jesus Christ! There is GREAT *CHANGES* by knowing the Saviour. And there is *PARDON* in knowing the Saviour. But I say, so many this last day, they have wounded and come against MY Holy Spirit, saith the Spirit of God. And I say they do not want HIM in their way. But I say HE is! The Spirit will remain here. Did not MY Son say, "it is needful that I go away. For if I go not away the Comforter will not come. But if I go away I will send HIM. And HE shall reprove this World of sin. And HE will lift up MY Name! HE has done a MIGHTY work, saith the Spirit of God. And HE [the Holy Ghost] **IS** **NEEDFUL**!! I need a people that will enjoy HIM, that WANT HIM, DESIRE HIM. I will guarantee you HE will be **WITH** them, all the days of their life, as long as they *WANT* HIM, and DESIRE HIM, *WITH* *HOLINESS*! But I say when thou goest away, and goest back in thy backslidding it puts a bridge between thee. [When we back slide a chasm opens up separating us from the love of God. But God provides a bridge back, Jesus our Lord is that bridge back.] When thou goes back to thine own willful way, I say, it separates you from the love of God. And I say I do not wish this, for MY people, to happen. I say for so long MY people have been in and out, up and down. But I AM calling for a people that will stand proudly, and look every day to clean their house, to seek MY face, every day to pray, and call upon MY Name. It would be MY delight to come down and commune with those, and have supplication with them, to have a time of blessings, a time that I can *COUNCIL* with them, a time that I can speak to their hearts. For I wish to speak to MY people this last days, that they would know MY will, that they would know MY desires. For I AM able to complete that which I have started. And I say: For MY coming is soon. I say this Land: there is problems before it. I say there is going to be a time, very shortly, when *TIME* is going to be short! The day is going to be HOT! But I have *DELIVERANCE* for MY people! And I have *PLANS* for thee this day. Come close and I shall *BLESS* thee, and I shall *KEEP* thee. And I shall *INCLUDE* thee. And I shall give thee MY love, MY joy, MY peace. I shall give thee those things that *SATISFIES* thee, MY benefits, which will be MY array, to those that will follow me, and keep my commandments. It will be MY joy to be by thy side. But do not resist, because I say those resisting against ME shall lose out, saith the Spirit of God. [This prophetic word concludes. Later in the meeting the Spirit of God pours out more direct words.] You know God is calling for a people in this last days. The Bible says "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;..." [Colossians 1:10] God *literally* wants us to please HIM. And how we displease HIM is when we get back and lose our way. It doesn't bring any joy to MY Heavenly Father. [Brother Freedom begins to weep as he feels the heart break of the the Lord over God's people that are not pleasing God.] It hurts HIM. HE cares. HE doesn't want to destroy what HE made. We are made in HIS image, in HIS likeness. And there is not another one like you. You are *SPECIAL* in HIS eyes. And HE has a love for you. It says, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is *NOT* in him." [1st John 2:15] "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." [1st John 2:17] Oh for HIS eyes are running "...to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." [2 Chronicles 16:9a] God is a wonderful parent! I have never felt, never understood that I would have such a love relationship that I have found. Literally, HE took a young mechanic (I'm old now). And in all of the churches I really wasn't anything [in their eyes]. I was like a lost, lost one in their eyes. But I prayed and I said, "Lord, I want YOU!" The Lord said, "I haven't forgotten about you! You keep praying!" So one day in 1976 the Lord spoke to my heart and said, "I've called you! Prepare!" And I said, "Lord, I'd like to do something for you." The Lord said, "Prepare for the last hours." God wants to do something that is spectacular! My brother was dying in Reno, Nevada. They told me he had about three or four hours at the most. My wife and I drove to Reno, to the hospital there. My Dad was alive then and met us. He said, "Earl doesn't have long to live." I said, "Well, why can't I go in there?" "Well, you can't go in there [ICU] and disturb at all. There are other patients in there." I said, "I'll go in and not disturb." So I went in there and prayed, silently. In two hours and 35 minutes his eyes came wide awake. You don't have to make a fool out of yourself in some places. Sometimes it is better to be quiet, because I have learned that the enemy can't come against your praying in the Spirit! And he [the enemy] is not God! HE IS **NOT** GOD! Remember that! He is NOT God! God is omnipotent! God is everywhere present all the time. The enemy can hear part of what you say, but sometimes it isn't the enemy that hears but his imps. The biggest problem that we have here today is not the enemy but *OURSELVES*!! I guarantee you that if you can get "self" out of the way, that if you can lick "self," you are on your way toward Heaven! I believe that, because God gives us strength. Another time they called me at mid-night to go to a town 45 miles away and to pray for a young fellow named Kendall. And I, like a good Christian brother, said, "I'll pray for you [men who are going to pray]." And as soon as I got off that phone God shamed me! The Lord said, "I wanted you to go. Why did not you go?? You were disobedient!" I said, "Lord, I'll go right now!" So I went down. It was a little after mid-night when I got there. He was dying. And the family was really taking it hard. And there was a few of us men there to pray. And the nurse said, "I'm NOT letting you fellows in! You will make noise." I said, "What if we don't say a word??" She said, "You can't do that!" I said, "Yes we can." That is why some of us men are meeting in that restaurant each Saturday morning! We are there to let our light shine. You don't have to say anything. Just your **PRESENCE** can change things! You need to believe **THAT**!! Your job will [bring] change with you just being there! You don't have to say **ANYTHING**!! A woman came into the shop where I work. She said, "You are a man of God!" She said, "I know that you are [a man of God] because my life is being changed! [Brother Freedom had only said, "Have a good day," to that lady. But the presence of God in, around and through him touched that woman and she was enabled by the presence of the Holy Ghost radiating from Brother Freedom to sense that something from Heaven was present in the old mechanic! --clint] That is what God wants done! It is done secretly, through a way that you have never seen before! It doesn't have to be done by being up here praying loudly over it! The Bible says go to thy inner closet. [See Matthew 6:6] It says pray secretly that you will be rewarded openly! [Now Brother Freedom explains why God wants HIS people to work in secret, why what they do is sometimes kept secret and unknown. The tape was turned over here. But he is speaking about how if our prayers were totally seen and people began to give us credit for our intercessions we would be brought into greater temptation of pride. And God would get less glory and we would get more glory! And it would be terribly dangerous for us. Now we pick up on side two.] Because that would put this man back in the "old man," very fast! We don't need praise! You can take a slam a lot better than you can take a praise! We need to be careful because *PRIDE* will pull you down to a place that you cannot hear from Heaven! It will destroy your testimony! It will destroy your anointing from Heaven! It will put upon you a caste, a smear of darkness, that those round about won't want to have any relationship with you! We need to realize that God has a purpose upon each one of you, in this room, that when your steps are "...ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand." [Psalms 37:23-24] I was in Haiti. And there was a man who kept seeing me, day after day. And I went to Christian business men's dinner the last night I was there. And all the rest of the fellows and their wives who had traveled there were placed at the head table. The president who was there did NOT like me! He had recently had a heart attack. So I stayed away from him. And when I came in the door of the restaurant he said, "You get clear back in the back of the room back there." So I went to the back of the room. And I said, "Lord, why have I come this far to be such a problem? I feel like I have done nothing. I took ten days off of work. I would have much rather have been with my wife back home. I would much rather be with my family. I don't mind going, but I just feel like a plain failure." [Brother Freedom was miraculously sent on this mission trip to Haiti. Two business friends felt led to underwrite the whole trip for Brother Freedom. And they put pressure on him to go. It was not Freedom's idea at all. But Freedom did sense that God was in it, so he obeyed and joined the party of people traveling to that little country.] The Lord spoke to me and said, "You don't go by what you see! You go by what I have called you to do!" Then the Lord said, "It is not over until it is all over! You sit back here, and you stay loving ME, praising ME." At this point I said, "Lord, *I* *LOVE* *YOU*! It is sort of wonderful to love God, love Jesus, love the Spirit of God! There is *SUCH* a benefit in knowing God! There is such a *PEACE* that passes all understanding! The glory of God can be revealed in you, about you and over you, within you. And that year I had gone to Kelowna, Canada. I had flown I don't know how many thousands of miles on aircraft to get to places where I would look at equipment. [That year was a banner year for Brother Freedom. He had been flown to numerous cities and locations in order to inspect Caterpillar equipment that was for sale. Perspective buyers had learned that when he said a piece of equipment was good, it was good. And when he said it was bad, it was bad. Sometimes God would even give him a word of knowledge about how long that piece of equipment would last before it would need an overhaul. Some of the buyers did not understand and others did understand that Brother Freedom didn't know much at all about Caterpillar compared to God Almighty. And Freedom knew how to get in touch with Heaven. And God would bless Freedom by telling him secrets about equipment. And various business men noticed this and so they would fly him to distant places to inspect dozers, scrapers, loaders and other large pieces. *In this sermon it is important to note that he mentioned his visit to Kelowna, Canada. The president at the head table remembered that Brother Freedom was way back in the dark recesses of that restaurant and so he asked Freedom to stand and give a word of testimony. God had brought Freedom to mind. And so Freedom arose and shared how thankful he was to have been so many places that year, including Kelowna, Canada, Peoria, Illinois and now Haiti.] And here I find myself in Haiti. And that night I was very discouraged. Every place I went in Haiti I was the floor mat. They had this station wagon. And all the "big shots" were all up front. And I sat clear in the back with the mud and luggage. They literally treated me like a rag! That is the truth! And I thought, "Lord, I'm really hurt! I really hurt!" The Lord said, "It is still not over! It is still not over MY son! That is why I called you! I knew you could take it!" And that sort of encouraged me! The Lord said, "You wait!" So all this stuff was going on up at the head table. And this president gets up. He says, "Folks, I've been taking a whipping from God! I didn't realize what I've done. God sent that man all the way down here to pray that my heart would be healed." He was dying. He had a heart attack earlier. He was in terrible shape. He was eaten up with bitterness. And here today, do not allow any bitterness to come into thy heart! Get rid of it! It will sap your life! Do you know what bitterness is? It is unforgiveness! When you go to sleep at night tell God everything. Get it all straightened out. Have a happy day! "...happy is that people, whose God is the LORD." [Psalm 144:15b] We need that every day, that peace that passes all understanding. [See Philippians 4:7] "...for the joy of the LORD is your strength." [Nehemiah 8:10b] And without that [joy of the Lord] you will live a dolesome life! With that dolesomness you are going to die! You are allowed to go the wrong direction. I'm saying this very plainly. God has some rigid rules, but they are glorious! I've never had so much fun as I have with the Lord! I could tell you story after story. HE told me I'm just his messenger boy. But I LOVE being HIS messenger boy! I'm not a pastor. I'm not nothing. But I know where *HE* is. And I know what *HE* does. HE let's me know secrets, and most of them I've never told anybody. I will guarantee you here that you don't have to worry about me ever saying anything about you, wrongfully, to anyone. You will never hear me do that because that is between me and God. HE seals it! That was one of the first vows I had to take. If you want the Holy Ghost you need to make a vow to Heaven that you want to keep it [the Spirit of God] forever! It [the Baptism in the Holy Ghost] is like having a marriage. Don't take the Holy Ghost as a light event! It is glorious! It makes up your heavenly home and it takes a place. It is beyond anything in this World, greater than any vacation. You have more fun. Others may be having fun. I used to go to baseball games. [Someone] said, "Well, you be there tonight!" And I said, "I don't really care about going." I didn't tell this person that, though. [This was a close relative and they were depending on Freedom to provide transportation. And other relatives were depending on it. And so he endured the game and was loving to his family members.] And I would go down to that baseball game. And I would start praising the Lord in my Spirit. Nobody knew this! And the glory of God would just come all over me! And the Spirit of God would come. You can have more fun with God! My [relative] was playing ball! But I was just [lost in God]. That game wasn't my cup of tea! My cup of tea was having *GOD*, having fellowship with the Father. **THERE** **IS** **NOTHING** **THAT** **CAN** **COMPARE** **WITH** **THE** **FELLOWSHIP** **OF** **OUR** **HEAVENLY** **FATHER**!!! ***G-L-O-R-Y***!! I had a bad leg before...but God ***DELIVERS*** us! I could hardly walk before. [Brother Freedom is healing from a leg injury.] But the presence of God is real. [Freedom is jumping for joy and not feeling any pain!] God is that glory that takes over when you cannot [take over]! Thank you Father! Glory to God! Meet each need here today! [The Holy Spirit has just planted a prayer in Freedom's heart and he begins to speak it out to us.] Fulfill THY desire, for that one that has walked and been weary. I pray this day that you will deliver them. Take away the heartache. And Father, for that one that really doesn't even believe, I pray that you will instill a belief within them. Really touch this day by THY mighty hand, forevermore, from Heaven's shore. Glory to God! Getting back to Haiti, as I said Kelowna, Canada [during the short testimony from the darkest, farthest, back part of the restaurant] he got up and said, "Folks, I want you to forgive me, because God has told me that I must ask forgiveness. This man that I have treated so shamefully all week. I have done everything to him that I could do. Made it look like for him to have the worst time he could have. But I believe because he loves God that he is not going to hold that against me." I said, "No, I won't." But he said, "I want you to come up and pray for me." He said, "He's going to pray for everybody in this room. Not you pastors, not you other leaders. He is the one that God says will pray for everyone in this room." There was about 200 people. A lot of them went down [as the power of God flowed upon them]. The power of God came through that place. God healed this man. And he was at a conference in Redding the next year. He said, [Brother Freedom], my heart is still healed!" I can say this, I have never seen God not complete a contract that HE told me of. My brother, Earl, got up two hours and 35 minutes later, in Reno, *ALIVE*! Kendall [the man in the hospital ICU where the nurse put a gag order on the believers regained consciousness after] ten minutes of [silent] prayer. I said, "God is going to move." HE [God] did! All of his [Kendall's] vitals did a reverse. Those vital signs came up to normal. I don't really know what normal is, but they said he did. And he woke up out of the coma. He woke up. He [signaled] for a pencil. He [wrote], "Jesus just touched me." You tell me that ain't powerful! Just a few years ago a young lady named Terri was in ICU. And the Lord spoke to me to go down and see her, on a Friday evening. They said, "You can go in to Terri, but she is not going to live very long. He said, "We feel at least maybe a month of recovery, if she makes it tonight." He said, "That's how bad she is." I quietly went in and said, "Lord, touch Terri. She needs YOU." And I prayed in the Spirit. I said, "Lord, she's in your hands." So the next morning I asked Brother Clint, "Would you like to go down. I don't know what has happened. Because she isn't supposed to make it. I would like to go back. Will you go with me?" [Brother Freedom then asked Clint to tell the rest of the story. Brother Freedom had felt something in his spirit when he prayed in the Spirit for Terri there in ICU. And so we went back the next day to ICU. Standing outside the ICU we used the red wall phone to call in to the ICU unit. The nurse in ICU told us over the phone that Terri was not there. Then there was a pause. I [clint] thought Terri must have passed away in the night. But then after the pause the nurse continued, "Terry has gone home. She went home this morning." I said to Brother Freedom, "You know where she lives. Let's go see her." And we did. When we knocked on her door she came to the door in perfect health. There wasn't a single sign that the night before she had been blue, overdosed on drugs and in a coma, about to leave this world. There was no sign at all. God had so completely saved her from the overdose that we couldn't see a single sign of weakness. And she had no idea that Brother Freedom had even visited her. He was the last person she had on her mind.] I've seen God do miracles time after time, if we will just believe. Just like my sewer here a month ago. I said, "Lord, I don't even know anything about it. I'm just tired." I came back [later] and it was all fixed! About every three months I have had to call the plumber. [Tree roots keep invading Brother Freedom's sewer pipe, but God miraculously repaired it!] I'm here today to show and believe that God is *THE* *ANSWER* for every situation we face! It says, "**BLESSED** **IS** **THE** **MAN** that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish." [Psalms 1:1-6] "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." [Proverbs 14:12] It says, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul:..."**HE** **RESTORETH** **MY** **SOUL**!!" "**HE** **RESTORETH** **MY** **SOUL**!!" Here today, HE needs to *RESTORE* your soul!! "...he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:..." "**I** **WILL** **FEAR** **NO** **EVIL**!!" "...for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." [Psalm 23] There is *GREAT* peace to them that love God's law, and nothing shall offend them! [From Psalms 119:165] "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." [Isaiah 26:3] Isaiah 26:3 is the great tool that the enemy is trying to take away!! HE [GOD] will keep them "in perfect peace, whose mind is **STAYED** **ON** **THEE** [The mind needs to be focused on God]!" THAT IS THE PROBLEM! We have a way of putting our minds over here. And I am sad to say these TV sets are a *GREAT* deterrent to the mind of God's believers!! It takes us over! God spoke to me on this two weeks ago, and told me that a lot of HIS saints were losing a lot of HIM, not by TV. HE didn't tell me that. But HE said, "There is darkness creeping in their hearts." And that is why we need, every day, *DAILY*, work cleaning our house. I have never kept house until the last couple of years. And I am learning that every day YOU HAVE TO KEEP HOUSE! Every day you have to sweep the floor. I admire you women because there is a *REAL* work out there! Every day you have to go into that kitchen. You have to clean dishes. You have to clean clothes. You have to do *ALL* these things. If you don't they are going to come OVER you. And pretty soon you will be over run with dirty clothes, dirty dishes, dirty floor, all these things. You have to *CONSTANTLY* *TAKE* *CHARGE* of *THAT* *HOUSE*!! And the biggest house that we have is *OUR* house, that we, constantly, should *ABIDE* in the Lord Jesus Christ. Call upon HIM! It says, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." [Jeremiah 33:3] "...greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." [1 John 4:4b] "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy..." [Jude 1:24] "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the **POWER** that worketh in us," [Ephesians 3:20] "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day..." [2nd Corinthians 4:16] "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through **HIM** **THAT** **LOVED** **US**." [Romans 8:37] **THIS** **IS** **THE** **WORD** **OF** **GOD**!!!! **GOD** **IS** **OUR** **FOUNDATION**!!! And HE wants us to *SPREAD* *IT* [the written Word, the Bible] *OUT* *WITH* *THE* *SPIRIT* *OF* *GOD*, that the anointing may be upon it!! In Isaiah 10:27 is says, "...the yoke shall be **DESTROYED** because of the anointing. There are problems out here! I don't care how you pray about it, without the Spirit of God you CANNOT contest against that because the power [of darkness] is too hardened! The Bible says, "...be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." [Ephesians 6:10-12] It says, "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done *ALL*, *TO* *STAND*." [Ephesians 6:13] Brothers and Sisters here today in the Lord, there is a time that we have got to **STAND** **STRONG**! And wave the banner on high to Heaven, that "I am *NOT* going to *SWAY* right or left. I'm going to keep my hand, and my eye fixed on God!" "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD..." [Psalms 121:1-2a] *I* *MUST* *BE* *DETERMINED*!! I've made up my mind, HALLELUJAH, that I am going to **SERVE** ***HIM***!!!! HE is the king of kings. HE is worthy of *All* my praise! HE is worthy of all that I can give to HIM!! And HE is also worthy of all of **YOUR** praise, all that you can give to HIM!! HE is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End! All things that "consist" are made by HIM!! [See Colossians 1:17] It says, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." [1 Corinthians 2:9-10] There is a **POWER** from God that God wants to institute in us that we might be **DELIVERED**, and set free from the powers of darkness. If we could just get set free OURSELVES, then we could be at a place that we could set **OTHERS** free!! God loves us so very much. HE *CARES* for us! The Bible says, "Fret not thyself because of evildoers,..." [Psalms 37:1] How much time do we stand *FRETTING*?? As God has shown me, we fret, we fret, we fret!! It says, "Fret not thyself..." I believe that perfect love casteth out *ALL* fear, and where there is fear there is torment! [See 1st John 4:18] "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." [2nd Timothy 1:7] "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and **JOY** in the Holy Ghost... "**JOY** **IN** **THE** **HOLY** **GHOST**!!" [Romans 14:17] Now unto HIM that hath called us. Praise God! God wants to build us up and take us into Heavenly places in Christ Jesus! [See Ephesians 1:3] There is *ROOM* for each one of us! There is a *PLACE* for each one of us. There is an *INHERITANCE* for each one of us. The Bible says, "To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you," [1 Peter 1:4] There is a *SPECIAL* reservation for each one of you. It is signed in full, that you can have eternal life, that you can have *WELCOME*!! While you are here on the Earth, that God wants to walk by your side. HE wants to *HELP* you. HE wants to instruct you! HE wants to *HELP* you in such a way that HE doesn't *OFFEND* you. Now isn't that wonderful, that HE loves us so much HE wants to correct us, but HE does not want to *OFFEND* us! It says offend not a brother. [See 2nd Corinthians 6:3a] When we offend a brother many times we lose a brother. Coming down to the next step, we are to watch our words. "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." [Psalms 19:14] It says, "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." [Matthew 12:37] "Death and *LIFE* are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." [Proverbs 18:21] The Bible says, where there is confusion there is "...**EVERY** **EVIL** **WORK**." James 3:16] **WE**, **YOU**, **ME** **HE**, **SHE**, **JOE**, **BARBARA**, **GLENN** do not have to be deceived!! God has not given us that kind of a spirit! God gives us a *CLEAR* path, "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and ***INCREASING*** in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with **ALL** **MIGHT**, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering **WITH** **JOYFULNESS**;..." [Colossians 1:10-11] **OUR** **MINISTRY** **NEEDS** **TO** **BE** ***JOY***, ***UNSPEAKABLE***!! Hallelujah!!! There's people that don't want to hear someone because they are duller than last year's bird's nest, *AND* **DRYER**!! They've lost the joy! They no longer have victory! They've lost their **JOY**!! **GOD** **WANTS** **US** **TO** **BE** ***JOYFUL***!! "...happy is that people, whose God is the LORD." [Psalm 144:15b] IT IS **REAL**!! It is a glorious walk! It is a glorious talk! God ***LOVES*** YOU!!! [Now a prophetic word pours forth, direct from the Throne Room of God.] For I the Lord thy God am **HERE**, saith the Spirit of God. I say tell thy friends that [if] they shall come that I shall do great and mighty things, saith the Spirit of God. For I have an invitation out: **COME** MY one!! Come to the WATERS! **COME**!! For I have planned this hour, saith the Spirit of God! Ye might think it is a little thing in MY eye. But I the Lord thy God have ordained this day! And I say do not be lax in thy own willful ways! Be not unconcerned, if unbelief come in thy heart. But I say MOUNT UP WITH FAITH! Believe it, that this shall come to pass! If thou can believe with thy heart, great things, thou shall see great things! But if thou has no faith, I say thou will dry away. And that which thou has, you will lose it, saith the Spirit of God. For I say, this Spirit that I have given thee, thou must take time, every day, in keeping MY presence within thee, saith the Spirit of God. Thou must seek MY face. Thou must call upon ME when I AM near. Thou must forsake wrong doing, and put on right. And thou must take on righteousness. And put *OFF* the cares of this Land. Take off those things that other people want you to do. WALK! Learn to walk by **MY** Word, not what others even tell you, saith the Spirit of God. For I say in the hour of temptation the enemy will have it that you will hear from others. And you might think in thy heart that it is from ME. But I say take *THOUGHT* of what I AM saying to thee this day! TAKE MY WILL upon thee, that thou would *LEARN* of ME. LEARN! Come to ME, and I will *NEVER* deceive thee. I say the enemy, he WILL try to deceive thee. HE *WILL* deceive thee, if you **LET** him, saith the Spirit of God. **BE** **CAREFUL**! Be vigilant, because the adversary, the devil, going around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, whom resist steadfast in the faith. MY people, **MOUNT** **UP** **WITH** **FAITH**!!! For I have NOT given thee the spirit of fear. But I have given thee *FAITH*. And I have given thee FAVOR. Look to ME! Advance in MY love, and I shall prepare thee. And I shall anoint thee. I say very shortly, if thou shall stay in MY place, because I say where MY Spirit is there is liberty. For I the Lord thy God, where MY Spirit is there is liberty. And if thou can keep ME in thy presence, as thou will call upon ME and believe, as I AM welcome here, thou shall see GREAT and MANY things being done in thy presence. And thou shall see great miracles happening as thou will pray. I say, even round about thee right now, think it not strange seeing things are going to take place that you have not seen, never felt before. For I AM here to *STRENGTHEN* thee this way. For I have **ORDAINED** this. Be not afraid. BE NOT AFRAID!! **BE NOT AFRAID**!!! And I shall bless thee. And I shall *KEEP* thee with MY mighty hand from Heaven. For I loveth thee!!! I will *KEEP* thee! I shall keep thee from the oppression of the enemy that will come to tantalize thee, take over, to say even that this is a lie this day. But I say you tell him [that] you have believed the report. And you must ask and receive that report whether true or not. You shall act on what you have heard this day. And I say if thou shall *ACT* wisely, I the Lord thy God shall support thee, openly, with a *BLESSING* from Heaven's shore, saith the Spirit of God. [The prophecy from Heaven is concluded] Glory!! God is *REAL*! It says, "Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace." [Psalm 37:37] Glory!! Glory!! You know, I'm a very timid man until I get the Spirit on me. I used to go into jails, many years. And they thought nothing would happen. When I got in there I saw things happen! And I remember the first time I went in, in Texas. The jailer says, "You know, I won't even close the door up here. I'll make it easy for you, son. If you get to need to come out, I'll help you out. I won't let the bugger bear get you up there." But you know I started seeing that a ministry helping anyone NEEDS God! Anyone who says simply God really needs Jesus, God's Son. Then after they receive God's Son, they need an acquaintance with the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit from Heaven who can keep them and thrill them. You know, I'll tell you, it has been the most satisfying walk that I have ever seen! It is through the most **fulfillment**, brothers and sisters. I don't know if this message has touched you, but it has touched me! I never take any thought what I am going to say. When I go home and prepare, I just pray in the Spirit. I say, "Lord, I don't want anything but YOU." But I know in my heart it is good! That is all I know. And in a few minutes I will forget. I will not even know what is going on [now]. And the only way I know is when I hear what has been taped. But at the time, that second [that the message comes out] I really know. And it leaves me so fast. But that is like life. This life is going over very fast! And only the things I do for Christ will last. My Aunt, bless her heart, her name is on this board in the back. Aunt Emma said, "Remember the only thing that will last is what you do for Christ." This was her home church.
